Get Certified by the US Nanny Association

US Nanny Association credentials require training, work experience, passing a background check and passing an exam based on the national nanny standards. Earning industry certification, much like teachers, nurses and social workers, showcases your dedication and that you have demonstrate the skills needed to providing high-quality childcare.

The Nanny and Childcare Provider (NCP) certification is designed for nannies seeking to establish and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for children. Certified nannies usually seek part-time, full-time and /or summer or resort positions with families or employers.

The Newborn and Infant Care Professional (NICP) certification is designed for childcare providers specializing in preemies, newborns and infants. Many Newborn Care Specialists work overnight and/or as specialized nannies to assist new parents.
